Pear, ricotta and honey toast topper recipe

This delicious toast topper idea makes the most of the classic pear and ricotta flavour duo. Quick, easy and worth getting out of bed for, top this simple breakfast idea with fresh blackberries and a drizzle of honey for an extra fruity twist


  • 1 slice small wholemeal loaf
  • 25g ricotta
  • 50g pear, sliced
  • a few blackberries, halved if large
  • 1 tsp honey



  1. Toast the bread, then spread with ricotta.
  2. Fan out the pear slices over the toast, then scatter with the blackberries.
  3. Drizzle with honey and season with black pepper to serve.
